FluoMeter Development Kit
For a course at school, I am working in a group of four to develop the “FluoMeter” for an elementary school.
It is a wooden construction with a separate button. When the button is pressed, the meter goes up one level. Children can earn rewards based on how high they manage to get the meter. They are only allowed to press the button when they arrive safely at school wearing a fluohesje (high-visibility vest).
The entire setup is quite large, so we can only test and work on it at school. That was a problem I wanted to solve. How? By designing all the hardware and LEDs on a single PCB that is small and portable, making it possible to develop and test the software anywhere.

It was incredibly satisfying to see this project come to life, and having everything work perfectly the first time was a very welcome surprise. I genuinely can’t stop saying how cool it looks!
