Jukebox BT
I was tasked with creating a good-looking, compact device that allows jukeboxes to stream music from a phone or computer via Bluetooth when the jukebox itself is not playing.
In the video, it’s playing Deceptacon from my Spotify on my phone. When I select a song on the jukebox, it switches to the jukebox amplifier. When the song is finished, it switches back to Bluetooth mode.
This is achieved by tapping power from the turntable motor, because it only receives power when a record is playing. That way, we know exactly when to route the audio from the jukebox amplifier or when to switch to the Bluetooth amplifier.
The result is a finished product with a sleek, professional design, interchangeable relays, and clear markings for all connections. You can now enjoy your Spotify playlists directly through your jukebox!
